1223 - 5 Channel PIC Chaser (with TRIAC Outputs)

An impressive PIC controlled light chaser with five TRIAC outputs rated at 500W each to drive standard filament type light bulbs. Ideal for parties, discos, shop-windows and eye-catching signs.

The pre-programmed PIC can create 8 different lighting combinations including sequential ON/OFF, front-back, one by one, etc, by simply pressing the program button. The board has five TRIAC outputs with corresponding LED monitors.

The board is powered from 230Vac mains and is supplied complete with an onboard power supply step-down mains transformer and fuse. All components including TRIACs, heatsinks and solder for assembly supplied.

The module is designed for use with conventional incandescent filament light bulbs only. NOT suitable for use with inductive loads or other types of bulbs e.g. fluorescent, CFL, halogen, etc.
