1017 - 30 Watt Linear CB Amplifier

Boost the power of your Citizen's Band (CB) Radio with this easy to build but nevertheless very powerful and useful linear amplifier add-on.

It can be driven by any commercial CB transmitter with no loss of receiver sensitivity. It delivers an output power of up to 35 Watts on the air depending on the output power of your CB (see Technical Specifications below).

The circuit incorporates an automatic antenna switch which is activated by the RF signal from the output of the transmitter making it possible to use the same antenna for both receiver and transmitter.
