CR0113 - Virtual Day Lighting Simulator Module (230Vac/50Hz, 1500W)

The Virtual Day Lighting Simulator Module (230Vac/50Hz, 1500W) is a flexible controller that provides a Dawn-Day-Dusk-Night lighting effect for use in a variety of applications.

The length of time for the daybreak/nightfall cycles is user adjustable between 1 Second and 120 Minutes thus providing a gradual transition in lighting intensity.

The duration of the Day/Night cycles is also user adjustable between 1 Second and 120 Minutes.

In addition, a Day/Night Effect input allows the user to indefinitely hold the unit at either the Day or Night cycle. On releasing the input the unit will continue to cycle through the Dawn-Day-Dusk-Night sequence from where it left off. The Day/Night Effect input can be connected to a cyclical timer to produce a continuous and realistic Dawn-Day-Dusk-Night of whatever duration is required.

The following adjustments/controls are available to the user:

• dusk/dawn transition period (Ramp) settable from 1 Second to 120 Minutes
• day/night period (Solid) from 1 Second to 120 Minutes
• Start Point setting allows selection of the desired initial state (either Daybreak, Day, Nightfall or Night) when power (or a Reset) is applied
• Day/Night Effect input is used to determine where the cycle finishes e.g when Night Effect is selected, cycle with finished when the cycle has progressed through from the Starting Point to Night (off).
• Day/Night Effect input can be connected to a cyclical timer (CI0011/12/13 or CI0110/11/12) for automatic and continuous switching between the day and the night, with quiescent adjustable times.
• Reset input to restart the cycle from initial state

Useful in a variety of applications including poultry-farming, design studios, security and safety lighting and children's bedrooms.

The module is supplied fully assembled and has an onboard safety fuse and LED 'On' indicator. All you need to do is house it in a suitable enclosure, add the wiring, switches and lights.

Not suitable for use with inductive loads like neon, transformers, PL lamps, etc
