P!mot Advanced Robot Kit

The P!MOT is an advanced autonomous robot kit installed with 8bit micro-controller and keyboard to enable programming. It is the very latest model in the range and is packed with advanced features making it our best ever robot kit.

This 2 wheeled robot has an infrared sensor consisting of two LEDs and an infrared detector IC to see the front and four light sensors to sense the floor. Using these sensors conditional commands can be programmed
P!MOT also uses the principle encoder to improve the straight movement and provides 3 choices of speed.

It can also be programmed by downloading free software, although printer cable and interface card needed are optional extras (see below).

Pimot is equipped with the following features:

• Two electric motors giving Forward/Reverse/Turn L+R/ Rotate L+R
• Right and left forward facing infrared obstacle avoidance sensors
• Front right and left Floor detection sensors
• Rear right and left Floor detection sensors
• Onboard programming key pad
• Connector for linking to PC for on screen windows programming and editing (requires optional adapter and lead)
• Free downloadable programming software

Great for children over 12 years old with adult supervision. No soldering is required but a selection of small hand tools is required for assembly (for example Order Code HTK293).
