The
PIC16F62x series is popular with the educational sector as they are low cost, reprogrammable and easy to understand. This programmer will enable you to program and experiment with
this Microchip PIC microcontrollers (uC).
A detailed but easy to understand 49 page tutorial manual guides you step by step through building the hardware and burning your first PIC right through to understanding how a microcontroller works and writing your own software code. In fact we have made it so easy you will be learning how to design a project and write your own programs from page 7!
The kit contains a PIC16F628 chip, the programming hardware and programming
software needed to go with the tutorial. And remember the PIC16F628 is electrically
erasable so it can be used over and over again with different code (we supply
four detailed code examples for you to learn from). The hardware has an
LED test section that allows you to bench test your code.
