Detect
DTMF tones from tape recorders, receivers, two-way radios, etc using the
built-in microphone or direct from the phone line (via the onboard
line isolation transformer).
The numbers are displayed on a 16 character, single line display as they are received.
Up to 32 numbers can be displayed by scrolling the display left and right. There is also a Serial Output for connection to a PC. All data written to the LCD is also sent to the serial output, including the RESET and READY messages. Data is sent as standard ASCII characters.
The unit will not detect numbers dialled using pulse dialling. Circuit uses a CM8870 DTMF receiver chip and pre-programmed microcontroller. This product is NOT a caller ID unit!
