3150v2 - USB PIC Programmer - Flash/OTP (Socket & ICSP)

Reliable, high speed, professional quality USB Flash/OTP PIC® Microcontroller Programmer with programming socket* and 6-pin ICSP connector. Programs a wide range of both Flash and OTP devices. Auto Program feature for fast no-key-press bulk programming. FREE Windows software interface (see below for details).

6-pin header cable for ICSP supplied (GND, VCC, CLK, DAT, LOW, VPP1). Please note that LV programming is not supported.

The whole package comes at a very competitive price. The board is pre-assembled (not in kit form) so it is ready to go. Similar in function to our 3149 programmer but less the serial port connection option.

* N.B. You will need a 40 pin wide slot ZIF socket to program the 0.3" wide DIL devices listed below. The AS3150ZIF version is supplied completely pre-soldered with a 40-pin wide slot ZIF Socket. If you buy the AS3150 version you need to supply and solder your own 40-pin wide slot ZIF socket.

Software

The price includes our own MicroPro tailor-made and fully functional 9x/NT/2000/ME/XP/Vista software interface which is available for free downloading. Software accepts HEX files and has Program, Verify, Read, Blank Check, OSCAL and Fuse functions. Software tells you where to place the PIC you are programming.

Devices currently covered by this programmer (when used with the latest version of MicroPro) are the same as our 3149 programmer as listed below. If you do not find the device you want to program here please check our other Programmers (kits 3117, 3149 and 3150). Remember, you need the optional ZIF socket to program the 0.3" wide devices listed.

Programming Socket Options

The AS3150ZIF version is supplied completely pre-soldered with a 40-pin wide slot ZIF Socket. If you buy the AS3150 version you need to supply and solder your own 40-pin wide slot ZIF socket. You will a 40 pin wide slot ZIF socket to program the 0.3" wide DIL devices listed unless you intend to use the ICSP header.

Additional Items Required

• Power Supply Options: 16-18Vdc (Order Code PSU120)
• USB Lead Type A to Type B (Order Code LDC644)
• You will need a spare programmer or PIC16F628A (or 628) if you wish to update the onboard firmware when new MicroPro software updates are released (Order Code PIC16F628A)

Product Warranty

Only the AS3150ZIF version is eligible for our full PIC Programmer product warranty. If you purchase the AS3150 version and add your own programming socket you will only be eligible for the Kit Form product warranty. more
