Can be used to set-up an invisible security system using infrared (IR)
beams. When the beam is broken (or the power supply cut) the relay is tripped. This can be used to sound a bell, alarm
or other device.
It can be used for detecting customers entering a shop or vehicles coming up a driveway, etc, etc. Can also be combined with our LED Counter kit 3129 to count people or other objects as they break the beam. The beam is very powerful and distances over 15 metres can be monitored with this kit (considerably less in direct sunlight). Recommended for indoor use.
The kit consists of two separate PCBs - a transmitter board and a receiver board.
