Reliable, high speed, professional quality USB Flash PICŪ Microcontroller Programmer with programming socket* and 5-pin ICSP connector. No external power supply required making this a truly portable programmer. Auto Program feature for fast no-key-press bulk programming. FREE Windows software interface (see below for details).

No external power supply required makes this a truly portable programmer. Ideal for field and general use. A bi-coloured LED indicates the programmers status. 5-pin header cable for ICSP supplied (GND, VCC, CLK, DAT, VPP). Please note that LV programming is not supported.

The whole package comes at a very competitive price. The board is pre-assembled (not in kit form) so it is ready to go. Supplied complete with box. Only the bi-coloured LED, programming socket and ICSP header are visible. The other components are protected inside the box.

The price includes our own tailor-made and fully functional MicroBurn software interface which is available for free downloading. Software is compatible with Windows 7/Vista/XP/ME/2000/NT/9x.

It accepts HEX/Object files and has Program, Verify, Read, Blank Check, OSCAL and Fuse functions. Software tells you where to place the PIC you are programming.

Programs most Flash PIC uCs (devices with an F in the part number - it will NOT program devices with a C in the part number). Devices currently covered by this programmer are listed below. If you do not find the device you want to program here please check our other Programmers (kits 3149 and 3150). Some devices must be programmed using the ICSP header cable (10F2xx series, 18F65xx, 18F66xx, 18F85xx & 18F86xx series)

The AS3128ZIF is supplied completely pre-soldered with a 40-pin wide slot ZIF Socket that allows insertion of all supported DIL 0.3" to 0.6" devices.

• Power Supply: None required (supplied by USB port)
• USB Lead - Type A to Type B (Order Code LDC644)
• You will need a spare programmer or PIC16F628A (or 628) if you wish to update the onboard firmware when new MicroPro software updates are released (Order Code PIC16F628A)
