3123 - ATMEL 89 Series Programmer

Simple-to-use, low cost yet powerful programmer for the ATMEL 8051 family of microcontrollers. It will Program, Read and Verify Code Data, Write Lock Bits, Erase and Blank Check. All fuse and lock bits are programmable.

This programmer has intelligent onboard firmware and connects to the serial port. It can be used with ANY type of computer and requires no special software. All that is needed is a terminal/communications program which all computers have. 5 LED's are used to indicate programmer status.

89C1051, 89C2051 and 89C4051
89C51, 89LV51
89C52, 89LV52
89C55, 89LV55
89S8252, 89LS8252
89S53, 89LS53
87F51, 87F52 (otp)

NB If a device is not specifically listed above it is not supported by this programmer e.g. 89C55WD is NOT supported
 

Software

Programmer does NOT require special software other than a terminal emulator program (built into Windows as Terminal or HyperTerminal) and can be used with ANY computer and ANY operating system. Or use our free Terminal program.

• Power Supply Options: 16-18Vdc (Order Code PSU120 or PSU020)
• M-F Serial Port Lead (Order Code LDC441)
• Supplied as standard with a 20 and 40 pin DIL IC socket. Optional 20-pin ZIF socket (Order Code ZIF20) and 40-pin Wide ZIF socket (Order Code ZIF40W) can be used in place of the standard DIL socket supplied for maximum ease of use.
