3119 - P16PRO18 Serial-Mode PIC Programmer

If
you only want to program 8 to 18 pin serial-mode PICs e.g. 12C508/509
PlayStation and other modchips, then this programmer is for you.
The 3119 board just has a single 8 to 18 pin programming socket so there is no confusion or fuss.
It connects to the parallel port (EPP, ECP, SPP) of a PC and is designed to use the same P16PRO DOS or WINDOWS software as our 3096 programmer.
If you want to program 28 and 40 pin serial PIC's use
3096. If you want to program serial and
parallel programmed PIC's up to 40 pin use
3117.
Software
The P16PRO hardware is supported by P16PRO DOS and PICALLW Windows software. These programs will work under DOS and all versions of Windows except NT/XP (we have found problems running this hardware on faster PCs and Windows XP - use 3128,3144, 3149, 3150 or 3182 instead). It can also run under LINUX (click for details). The software is now supplied as fully functional FREEWARE with no licence fee payable.
The Windows version will not increase the range of devices that can be programmed but the software is more user friendly if you are used to working in a Windows based environment.
Please note that the P16PRO hardware (this kit 3096) will not program all of the devices listed in the software (you will need our 3117 or 3144 programmer instead).
