3114 - ±25V, 2A Dual Polarity Unregulated Power Supply

This kit is a quick, neat, and inexpensive way to provide a smoothed ±25V, 2A dual polarity unregulated DC power supply suitable for powering many audio power amplifiers.

The kit comprises four IN5401 (100V/3A) diodes in a standard bridge rectifier set-up and four 2200uF/50V electrolytic capacitors which provide DC ripple smoothing. They are mounted on a small PCB to avoid the usual spaghetti-wired mess.

It only requires the AC output of a centre-tapped transformer (not supplied). See the kit documentation for information on choosing an appropriate transformer for your needs.
