3108U - Dual Serial Relay Controller Upgrade Kit

The Kit consists of two pre-programmed upgrade firmware ICs and two sets of new front and rear box facia panel showing the new I/O numbers.

The Master unit is simply whichever unit the serial cable is connected to. IC7 in both relay boards have to be jumpered (a very simple job) to provide the connection between the kits.

A new Dual 3108 Windows software interface is available (see the picture). This makes it easy for even a novice user. It allows you to set the inputs and output in real time with ease. You can download the software by clicking here.

Alternatively, user written batch file programs can easily be made to control the kit using simple text commands. See documentation for examples.

This unit can be used with ANY computer and operating system. NO special software is required other than a terminal emulator program (built into Windows 3.1 onwards as Terminal or HyperTerminal). Or use our free Terminal program.
