3108U - Dual 3108 Upgrade Kit
Simple
upgrade kit for our 3108 8-Channel Serial Port Isolated
IO Relay Controller that enables you to link two 3108 units together
to provide a total of 6 external Inputs and 16 Relay Outputs running off
a single serial port.
The Upgrade Kit consists of two new (identical) firmware ICs, two new front and rear box-panel sets and 30cm wire.
The Master unit is whichever unit the serial cable is connected to. IC7
in both kits has to be jumpered (a very simple job) to provide the connection
between the kits.
Software
New
Dual 3108 Windows software is available (see the picture). This makes it
easy for even a novice user. It allows you to set the inputs and output
in real time with ease. You can download the software by clicking
here.
Alternatively, user written batch file programs can easily be made to control the kit using simple text commands. See documentation for examples.
This unit can be used with ANY computer and operating system. NO special
software is required other than a terminal emulator program (built into
Windows 3.1 onwards as Terminal or HyperTerminal). Or use our
free Terminal
program.
