Control the step rate and direction of a unipolar stepper motor by simply turning the bi-directional rotary switch.
Will single or half step any 5, 6 or 8 lead unipolar stepper motor rated up to 35V, 1.25A. Each clockwise 90 degree turn of the bi-directional switch moves the motor one step clockwise and vice versa when turned anti-clockwise.
Circuit uses a pre-programmed PIC 16C54 plus UCN5804 stepper driver IC.
