3075 - PIC Microcontroller Trainer (with 5 Functions)

Measure and display temperature and humidity, build a timer and counter, or do analogue to digital conversion with this 5 in 1 PIC Microcontroller Trainer.

Ideal for those who wish to learn about PIC microprocessor and LCD technology - a new challenge for electronics enthusiasts.

The kit includes a motherboard that carries a pre-programmed PIC16C711 chip containing all the code needed and alphanumeric LCD display.

Three plug-in modules are supplied for the motherboard:

1. Temperature and Humidity Sensor Module. Display both temperature (either °C & °F) and humidity simultaneously. Uses a Dallas DS1620 sensor.
2. Counter and Timer Module. Switch between Counter Mode (Up, Down and Clear functions) and Timer Mode (Start, Stop and Clear functions).
3. Analogue to Digital Module. Illustrates analogue to digital conversion techniques using four potentiometers.

Excellent practical project as well as a learning tool. All components supplied including 5 PCBs, alphanumeric LCD display, temp/humidity sensors and the pre-programmed PIC. The complete, fully commented, software code used is also available for you to study and learn from. This kit makes an excellent introduction to using and programming microcontrollers.
