3057 - Mains Positive / Negative Ion Generator (110-230Vac)
This
mains powered negative or positive ion generator uses a standard Cockroft-Walton
multiplier circuit.
This ladder of diodes and capacitors is used to pump the output voltage up
to the level needed for ionisation to occur. Powered directly from 110-230Vac
mains supply so suitable for the experienced constructor only.
PCB mounted protection fuse built and a neon power indicator. Uses ordinary
needlework pins for the ion emitters. Reversing the diodes makes it a positive
ion generator.
