3018 - 'MRTX' Miniature 9V FM Room Transmitter Bug

NEW IMPROVED DESIGN! Vastly improved design is more powerful than our 3V MTX room bug and slightly more refined than our MMTX 9V room bug. This circuit uses 2-transistors with the tank oscillator coil built onto the PCB for extra stability in operation. There is a choice of two output powers offering a choice of greater range or greater stability.

You can experiment with different aerial set-ups for greater range and alternative inputs (details provided).

• Transmits to 500m plus in the open using a 9V PP3 battery
• Can be received on a standard FM radio (our Order Code  RAD4997 is ideal)
• Highly sensitive built-in electret microphone (instructions supplied show how this can be changed to accept a line level input, low-level dynamic mic or magnetic guitar pickup)
• User adjustable transmitting frequency (just requires a small screwdriver)
