This great effect will make your car look like the futuristic computerised
car in the Knight Rider TV series, the famous KiTT. It gives a light display
which imitates the scanning lights in KiTT's front grill, which is supposed
to be the scanner of the on-board computer.
The kit comprises two parts, the control Board Dimensions: and the scanning light
unit. The scanning light unit is 26cm L X 4cm W X 6.5cm H and houses the
main output bulbs. Six 12Vdc x 0.1A filament light bulbs are supplied to create
the scanning effect. It can be fitted on the dashboard or in the grill.
The
Control Board Dimensions: can be mounted inside the car. It has an LED display that also
scans in time with the main display. The scanning speed is easily
adjusted to suit your particular tastes.
