1031 - 25 Watt FM Transmitter

High power FM transmitter having four transistor based stages with a Philips BLY89 (or equivalent) in the final stage. Delivers a mighty 25 Watts of RF power to the antenna. Supplied fully assembled and tested - just connect the aerial, power and audio input and you are on the air!

Accepts any line level audio source e.g. a CD or tape OUT, mixing deck, computer sound card or an audio mixer like our kit 1052. Audio input sensitivity is adjustable.

Antenna set-up can be an open dipole, ground plane, 5/8, J, or YAGI configuration.

The board is pre-aligned for the factory-set transmitting frequency and no further adjustments are necessary. If a different operating frequency is required, this can be altered by the user but you will need an SWR meter to realign the transmitter (see Tuning Instructions).
