Easy
to construct yet powerful 1 Watt FM transmitter with a range of up to 1 mile.
Two stage circuit design - first is an audio preamplifier and the second is
the RF output stage.
It can be used with the electret microphone supplied or any line level audio source. For example, a CD or tape OUT, mixing deck, computer sound card or audio mixer like kit 1052. Audio input sensitivity is adjustable.
Can be used with the simple open dipole wire aerial supplied or a ground plane can be used. This item is best powered from a battery - most DC mains adaptors are unsuitable as they will introduce an intolerable level of mains hum.
Board Connections: Solder Posts (see Connectors page and Leads page for connection hardware).
